The Angel Fund Tuition Assistance Program provides scholarship help to students in financial need Holy Name School is blessed with endowments that enable tuition to be kept relatively low. Unfortunately, some of our families cannot afford even this amount. Several years ago, the Angel Fund was established to help those families with tuition assistance. If you are someone who appreciates what Catholic education can do for a child, the Church and society, you are invited to contribute to the Angel Fund. Many people have named the Angel Fund as a way to memorialize deceased loved ones. Please note that 100% of all Angel Fund money stays in Holy Name Parish and is used only for tuition assistance. Volunteer at Holy Name School
Members of the school, church and local community are invited to become volunteers during the school day. Contact the school to learn about our Volunteer Program and obtain information about the required clearances.

• CAFETERIA:  Volunteers are needed to help serve lunch and clean up daily.
• LIBRARY:  Volunteers are needed to assist with the classes in the library and to shelve and check out books via computer.  If you can help, please check all times that you would be available.

Birthday Book Club

Holy Name Media Center sponsors a Birthday Book Club to honor students and help our library grow.

For a $10 donation, students may select a book and a bookplate is placed in the front of the book with their name and birth date. The student will be the first to check out the new book and then the book becomes part of the regular collection, available for any student to read.

Scrip Program

Major Retailers Still  Want To Give Our School Money,  Don’t Tell Them No!

Dear Parents,

We are continuing with our SCRIP fundraising program. And with your help we can go from a good year last year to a great year this year. This is one time you can make a difference every time you fill up with gas or buy groceries.

Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift
certificates from national and local retailers. They a the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program (see the link for participators).

These retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our organization at a discount. Member
families like yours, buy the certificates for full face value, then they redeem them for full face value, and our school keeps the difference as revenue.
The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for our school without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars with scrip at the stores that participate in the scrip program! And scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline and even dining out.

The Holy Name scrip program promises to be a simple and effective fundraising program.
